Family Phone Network Call

Here are several conference calls created for you. Topics are deafblind specific and most have been created from requests received from our parent and service provider surveys.

Family Conference Calls: Family Phone Network:
Networking families of children with combined vision and hearing loss The purpose of the NEC Family Phone Network is to provide a support network for families of children and youth who have combined vision and hearing losses or deafblindness. Through discussion of key issues, families from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire will share ideas and strategies in parenting a child with sensory losses.

Calls are facilitated by Dr. Deborah Chase, NEC Family Network Specialist. Deborah is a Licensed Psychologist in Massachusetts and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. For over twenty-five years she has worked with children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings including hospitals, mental health agencies, schools and private practice. Deborah has a special interest in working with families who have a child or children with special needs. She is a mother of a teenager who has combined vision and hearing losses.
